Biografia
Graduated in Dramatic Arts from ESAD in Córdoba and awarded a UTA Actors Training Department scholarship. Before making the leap to television, Álvaro performed with some of the major theatrical tours together with many of the most prestigious stage directors and actors in Spanish theater. The experience and know-how helped him to set up his own theater company, 300 Pistolas, in which he produces, directs and acts. In film and television, Alvaro has participated in successful dramas including Bandolera, Amar es para siempre, Lola, Aída, Isabel, La Memoria del Agua, Víctor Ros, Cuéntame como paso, El secreto de puente viejo, Oriol Paulo's debut feature Mirage and even performed voice-over work for the animated feature Smallfoot. However, international recognition arrived with the character of The Professor in Money Heist. Also starred in the TV drama The Pier directed by Jorge Dorado and with whom he coincides once again in The Head.
