Quando gli eroi da soli non sono sufficienti… il mondo ha bisogno di leggende. Dopo aver visto il futuro, cercando disperatamente di evitare che ciò accada, il furfante Rip Hunter viaggia nel tempo ha il compito per assemblare un gruppo disparato di eroi e criminali per affrontare una minaccia inarrestabile di cui non solo il pianeta è in pericolo, ma tutto il tempo stesso. Può questa squadra sconfiggere una minaccia immortale diversa da qualsiasi cosa che qualcuno abbia mai conosciuto?
