People’s Choice Awards 2016: i Vincitori

I Vincitori dei People's Choice Awards 2016 sono stati annunciati nel corso di una trasmissione in diretta trasmessa dalla CBS e condotta da Jane Lynch dal Microsoft Theater a LA Mercoledì 6 gennaio.

Nelle categorie del cinema, Furious 7 ha ricevuto il premio maggiore, il "Film Preferito" che è stato accettato dal protagonista Vin Diesel, mentre Sandra Bullock, Johnny Depp, Chris Hemsworth, Dakota Johnson e Melissa McCarthy sono stati gli attori premiati per le categorie legate al cinema.

Nelle categorie per la TV, la serie "The Big Bang Theory" ha portato a casa il premio "Favorite Network TV Comedy" per il quarto anno consecutivo, mentre il suo protagonista, Jim Parsons, ha ricevuto il premio come "Favorite Comedic TV Actor". "Grey Anatomy" ha ricevuto il premio "Favorite Network TV Drama" e Ellen Pompeo è stata scelta come "Favorite Dramatic TV Actress".

Nelle categorie per la musica, Shawn Mendes ha ricevuto il premio "Favorite Breakout Artist" e si è esibito sul palco con Camila Cabello di Fifth Harmony. Jason Derulo è salito sul palco per esibirsi in un medley dei suoi successi.

Per la prima volta sono stati annunciati i vincitori di categorie digitali tra cui Britney Spears per "Favorite Social Media Celebrity" e Matt Bellassai per "Favorite Social Media Star".
