Mtv Video Music Awards 2014: le Nomination

NTV ha annunciato le nomination per gli Mtv Video Music Awards 2014. La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà al Forum di Inglewood (California) domenica 24 agosto. Usher, Ariana Grande e i 5 Seconds of Summer sono i performer già annunciati per la serata del 24 agosto, mentre altri artisti che si esibiranno sul palco del Forum di Inglewood saranno annunciati prossimamente.

Beyoncé è la più nominata con otto candidature incluse Video dell'anno, Miglior artista femminile e Miglior Coreografia. Eminem e la rapper australiana Iggy Azalea hanno ricevuto sette nomination ciascuno.

In lizza per il premio Video dell'anno ci sono: Iggy Azalea con Charli XCX con "Fancy", "Drunk in Love" di Beyoncé ft JAY Z, il tormentone "Happy" di Pharrell Williams, Sia con "Chandelier", e il video che ha generato un milione di meme, "Wrecking Ball" di Miley Cyrus. I precedenti vincitori della categoria Video dell'anno sono stati Justin Timberlake con "Mirrors" nel 2013, Rihanna con Calvin Harris con "We Found Love" nel 2012, Katy Perry con "Firework" nel 2011 e Lady Gaga con "Bad Romance" nel 2010.
