Identità
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Stagione 6, Episodio 12 TRAMA
Un uomo è stato ucciso dopo aver stuprato una donna. Sembra una punizione, ma quando anche la vittima viene uccisa, il caso appare più complicato del previsto.
A case is reopened when Olivia is led to the body of a 7 year-old boy (Jeffrey Ronsen), who disappeared in 1980, after receiving an anonymous tip. In 1980, the cops identified Lucas Biggs, a professional ball player, as the murderer, but the evidence fell short of a guilty verdict. In present day, Lucas Biggs is on death row for the kidnapping and murder of another victim, and Cragen and Benson suspect this is a ploy to prolong his death sentence. In reopening the investigation, they discover that Lucas in fact was innocent of molesting Jeffrey; however, he did molest his friend and teammate Deacon. who in turn molested Jeffrey and another teammate of theirs (Avery). Jeffrey fought back and Deacon snapped his neck during the struggle, and buried him. The investigation comes to an end when Deacon is murdered by his wife when she finds video tapes of him molesting their own son. The story uncovers the scary facts of how men who were molested as children often commit the same crime they once experienced. George informs Stabler that his brother had a number of boys and when baby Kendall is left alive outside a firehouse, James Kendall comes to see his son. Questions soon surface about whether James returned Kendall so that he could take custody after Laura's suicide. Since James has a history of abuse, however, Children's Services takes Kendall away from his biological father. James ultimately sues Stabler and Novak for depriving him of his civil rights. In court, James attempts to prove he has always cared for his son by showing that he carries his son's sonogram. This reminds Stabler of the sonogram they found in the alley outside Laura's apartment which prompts him to arrest James for kidnapping. Stabler bluffs that James left his fingerprint on the sonogram in the alley and James buys it, confessing to a lesser charge in exchange for forfeiting custody and dropping the suit. And in a stunning reveal, Benson does a DNA experiment of her own and learns she has a brother.
