TRAMA

Una psichiatra che cura persone sessualmente violente viene pestata a sangue. Benson e Stabler sospettano di un paziente, ma la pista giusta si rivela un'altra.

A therapist who practices new advances in reparenting is found beaten and unconscious. Known to many for her work in rehabilitating men convicted of rape, Benson and Stabler immediately suspect some of her clients. Hitting a dead end, they find a client at the college in which she used to teach, but when they arrive, he has attempted to commit suicide. Huang interviews the student who has delusions that the therapist and he are intimate and in love. He finally breaks and admits he beat the therapist, but only after his reparenting wasn't working. The detectives discover that the student was beaten by his mother, as also attested by his sister. Huang breaks him and discovers that his sister killed their mother for kicking her out of the house when she was younger. In an even more bizarre twist, the sister admits she is not his sister after all, but his mother. When she was kicked out of the house by her mother, she knew she was torturing her boy and had to end it all. Similarly, she feared the therapist was hurting him as well and wanted to off her, too.
