TRAMA
La piccola Cassie Adams, di cinque anni, viene ritrovata senza vita a causa di violente percosse nei pressi di un cantiere situato vicino casa sua.
A young girl in foster care is found beaten to death in a construction site. At first, it appears the construction worker who befriended the girl is the culprit. Once he's cleared, the evidence points closer to home, to someone living within the foster residence. The detectives focus on the slightly retarded teen boy who is the grandson/son of the mother and daughter who run the home. Thinking maybe this is a murder a la the recent wrestling gone bad case in Florida, they question the boy to determine the level of his involvement. After talking to him, however, it becomes clear that the boy is not the killer. Instead, the boy's violent grandmother, whose behavior the system has condoned through its silence for many years, is the actual culprit.
