TRAMA

Un uomo viene trovato in fin di vita non lontano da un locale gay. Le indagini rendono chiaro che l'uomo è coinvolto in un traffico di droga.

A man is found shot and raped. When Benson and Stabler try to help the victim, he disappears from the hospital. The detectives track him down and find that he does not want to cooperate with their investigation. It is later learned that the man stars in gay porn films to finance the medical bills of his daughter who suffers with cystic fibrosis. His wife is also in porn ostensibly for the same reason. In fact, the man was shot when he tried to buy his wife's freedom from the sleazy producer who holds her porn contract. When the producer turns up dead, the detectives naturally assume the murder is vengeance on the part of the wounded man. By episode's end, however, it's learned that the wife has killed the producer, not for her freedom, but because he was going to stand in the way of her signing a more glamorous contract with a porn producer in LA.
