TRAMA

Un caso di presunta violenza domestica commessa da un poliziotto ai danni della moglie è la nuova indagine che impegna gli agenti dell'Unità Speciale. 

The wife of a highly decorated cop claims that her husband raped her. The SVU proceeds with caution because the accused is a fellow cop, there is no physical evidence of the rape, and there is evidence that the wife may be the one who is abusive. When the cop brings assault charges against his wife and then apologizes to her for raping her, the wife wants to forgive her husband and put the whole situation behind her. She tries to withdraw her claim, but Cabot won't let the case die because she is determined to make the point that marital rape is indeed still rape and should be punished accordingly. Also, since Jeffries is still stuck on desk duty, Fin is introduced as Munch's new partner. Having already filed a discrimination suit against the SVU, Jeffries removes all of her belongings from her desk and disappears without explanation, leaving behind only her badge and gun.
