TRAMA
Buck vive nella casa di Abby da quando lei ha lasciato la città per viaggiare. Quando sente che c'è qualcuno sotto la doccia, pensa che Abby sia tornata a casa, ma scopre che è Maddie, la sorella maggiore.
On one of the hottest days of the year, the first responders feel the pressure as harrowing incidents keep happening around the city, including a road rage accident involving a van full of tourists, an emergency at an auto-repair shop, a veteran with a live grenade embedded in his leg and a YouTube prank gone wrong. Meanwhile, Buck gets a surprise visit from his sister, Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) who is hiding from her abusive husband. Also, Athena questions her relationship with Bobby. Then, at the fire station, a handsome new firefighter, Eddie (Ryan Guzman), jeopardizes Buck's chances of being chosen for a fireman calendar. At the end of the episode, Los Angeles is hit by a large earthquake.
