TRAMA
FBI Agent Ferrell investigates the scene of Tate's escape, baffled by the handgun that Bo disassembled with her powers. She has a better idea of what she's dealing with now. Skouras insists that Ferrell can't apprehend Bo using traditional FBI methods. Maybe now she's beginning to understand what he means. Meanwhile, Winter rushes Tate and Bo to another safe house where the two can get some much-needed rest. Back at the Orchestra facility, Skouras continues his experiments with other talented telepaths under his dominion. He's pushing his subjects to the limits and endangering their health in the process. Skouras' other researchers aren't comfortable with his excessive experimentation methods, but they're in no position to challenge his authority like Winter did when he commandeered Bo. Meanwhile, at the safe house, Tate gets some rest while Bo explores her new temporary home. In the backyard, she discovers a loose brick in the wall that conceals an envelope containing a letter and an engagement ring. Bo immediately knows that she needs to give the letter to its rightful recipient. While Tate is still asleep, Bo heads out on her own to pursue her mission. Tate wakes up shortly after and frantically sets out to find Bo. Bo arrives at the home of Katherine, the intended recipient of the letter. Katherine explains that the letter is from an ex-boyfriend, Matt, who left for war and eventually stopped contacting her. According to Bo's letter, Matt didn't stop his correspondence. Instead, he asked her to marry him, but someone hid the letter. Unfortunately, Katherine is engaged now, so there's no way she can rekindle a relationship with Matt. Bo is not convinced, though. In the pursuit of true love, she vows to get the two of them back together. Back at the Orchestra laboratory, Skouras learns that his team has perfected a device which tracks telekinetic activity. It will be a useful tool in tracking Bo. Later, Skouras runs an experiment with one of his most promising subjects. He asks the telepath to read another subject's mind. The telepath accomplishes his goal and more; he telepathically erases the subject's mind. He's been fully weaponized, and Skouras intends to use his new weapon to track down Bo once and for all. Tate catches up to Bo and urges her to return to the safe house, but Bo refuses. She's heading to find Matt in order to reunite the two long lost lovers. After an existential street corner argument about the fundamental nature of love, Tate reluctantly agrees to help Bo find Matt. Bo uses the return address on Katherine's letter to track down the woman's war veteran ex-boyfriend. Although Matt is blind, he immediately recognizes the engagement ring in the envelope. Unfortunately, Matt believes that Katherine has no interest in seeing him. Assuring her new friend that Katherine still loves him, Bo promises to get them together again. That afternoon, Bo takes Matt to see Katherine and the two reunite. Katherine later learns that her fiancé hid Matt's letter behind the brick to keep her from being with her true love. Bo and Tate head to the docks to regroup with Winter, but Ferrell and the FBI intercept them en route. When Ferrell ushers Tate and Bo out of the taxi cab, it looks like this may be the end of the road... until Bo uses her power to lift the taxi cab into the air and smash it on the ground, allowing her and Tate to escape. It's Bo's most powerful demonstration yet, and Winter is pleased to hear that her strength is increasing in Tate's presence.
