David Hasselhoff nel nuovo film Baywatch

Dwayne Johnson attraverso i suoi canali social ha annunciato che il collega attore David Hasselhoff si unisce al cast del nuovo film Baywatch in lavorazione presso Paramount Pictures. Hasselhoff ha interpretato il bagnino di L.A. County Mitch Buchannon nella famosa serie "Baywatch", e ha prodotto "Baywatch" dal 1990 fino al 2001, quando la serie si è conclusa con "Baywatch Hawaii".

Se David Hasselhoff avrà solo una piccola parte nel nuovo film Baywatch non lo sappiamo, ma l'attore si unisce al resto del cast che include anche Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Priyanka Chopra e Hannibal Buress.

Prima della conferma della presenza di David Hasselhoff nel cast del film Baywatch, sapevamo che erano state scritte parti sia per Pamela Anderson che David Hasselhoff, entrambi protagonisti della serie.

Il film Baywatch, ispirato alla omonima serie televisiva che originariamente ha debuttato sulla NBC nel 1989, è previsto in uscita nei cinema americani il 19 Maggio 2017.

Anche se molti scrittori hanno lavorato ad una sceneggiatura per il nuovo film Baywatch, il progetto più recente proviene dalla coppia di scrittori di 'Venerdì 13' Damian Shannon e Mark Swift. Il regista Seth Gordon è a capo del nuovo film che viene prodotto da Dwayne Jonson al fianco di Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Beau Flynn, Dany Garcia, Ivan Reitman e Douglas Schwartz.
