TRAMA
Tutuola deve scegliere tra la famiglia e il suo lavoro. Una decisione difficile e dolorosa, ma necessaria: c'è di mezzo suo figlio, implicato in un crimine.
Police take in young Ken Randall, Fin's son, when they catch him digging up dirt in an open space in the middle of the night. Benson and Stabler question Ken who tells them he was digging for bodies off a lead from a drunken bar patron, and when SVU discovers the murdered bodies of a 30-year old woman and her infant son, it becomes clear that Ken knows more than he's letting on. Munch and Cragen interrogate Terry, Fin's ex-wife, who points them to Darius, Ken's cousin, as a possible suspect, and after SVU goes through the old case files it becomes clear that Darius is their man. As a self-proclaimed improved citizen, Darius confesses to the murders, but in court he pleads not guilty and his confession is thrown out of evidence. Much of Fin's troubled family history comes out regarding Terry, Ken, and even Darius who is later revealed to be Terry's son from a previous relationship, and when compelling evidence is gathered against Darius, he opts to hurt his hated family rather than plea out. Showing the effects of a loveless childhood, Darius looks coldly at Novak and vows to take everyone he knows down with him.
