TRAMA

Due bambini abbandonati. La madre, immigrata clandestina, scomparsa. E la figlia maggiore tenuta in ostaggio. Benson e Stabler reclutano allora la sorella della donna. 

Benson and Stabler are called to an apartment to discover two Asian children, a six-year-old girl with her nine-month-old baby sister, who have been left alone for weeks with no sign of their mother. The detectives pay a visit to the children's Aunt Li Mei, who eventually confesses that Jiao, their mother, has a third daughter who she was forced to leave behind when coming to the United States. She paid smugglers to collect her daughter, and left her other children behind in the apartment to pick her up at immigration. It becomes very clear that this exchange was never made when Li Mei is beaten, and told that her sister is dead and the debt owed for returning the girl to the United States is now hers. Benson and Stabler find they murdered Jiao, and took her daughter Ping to work off her mother's debt in their prostitution ring. In the end, Benson and Stabler rescue Ping and reunite her with her Aunt Li Mei.
